Creating Team KPI's

Creating KPI's is a process that can be measured by a number or date.
You address an area that you would like improved and decide how you will measure the progress on that particular area.
If you're just starting out with KPI's have no more than 2 at a time.
You want it to be clear, specific & achievable.

ie. Your staff are slack and inconsistent at putting the required job details into Service M8 (identified the problem).
You want them to improve on the details they enter, to be at least 85% accurate & the timeframe that it's done, must be in by 4pm each day (clear expectation of what is to be improved & what will be measured)
You will check at the end of each day the information that was entered into Service M8 for the jobs they attended (your staff know how you will be tracking the KPI to help keep them accountable)
Set an agreed timeframe - This will be measured for the next x amount of weeks or months, we will then meet again to see your progress.
Make sure you check in with your staff if there are any blockages that arise and how you can support them through that.

Before deciding to measure Team KPI's Ask yourself these question:
1. Am I prepared for the time & energy investment that this involves?
2. How will I keep my staff accountable?
3. What will I do to make sure I am consistent in seeing out this task?

REMEMBER TO KEEP IT SIMPLE!
