Mental Health

How It Started
TIACS was born through the realisation that there were too many barriers to free mental health support for the blue collar community. Co-Founders Dan and Ed came to this understanding after launching their social impact workwear brand TradeMutt. Their conversation starting workwear was helping bring down the barrier for people everywhere in starting important conversations about mental health.
So TIACS was born. A free text and call service to counsellors. Our mission, to be the mental health counselling service you tell your mates about.

A small business mental health expert - Leanne Faulkner. Welcome to Fortitude at Work. I work at the intersection of small business ownership and mental health. I'm a small business owner with my own lived experience of the challenges that come with starting and growing a business. I know what it takes to build resilience to ride the  waves of small business. I underpin this practical understanding with continuous academic research in this field. I work well with small business owners who want to improve their mental resilience; I work with big business who want to better understand how to support their small business clients; and I work with government agencies who want to keep the wellbeing of small business owners on their agenda.
Here is a session recording from when we caught up with Leanne Faulkner from Fortitude at Work and Erin Oldman from Mates in Construction
